Ministry Opportunities

Here at Crossroads, we want all of you to know that God works through His people in amazing ways. If it were not for the people who faithfully serve on a regular basis, Crossroads would not be the active, life-changing place that it is today.

Below, you will find a list of ministry opportunities in various areas throughout the church. We are asking you to do two things; first, pray that God would continue to bless this church and that people would be willing to serve so that others continue to find their way back to God; second, ask God to reveal to you where you can serve to further His work. Welcome to the Journey!


Guest Services:

Server – Don’t have a problem rolling up your sleeves? We need people like you to help with communion, offering and set-up.

Greeter – Do you have one of those catchy smiles? Help us spread it around.

Communion Prep – Do you prefer to help from behind the scenes? We need help getting communion ready for the services.

Sign Setup – Do you worry about people getting lost? Help point the way by setting out signs before the services.

Resource Center - People have questions – you could help connect them to some answers.

Café - Do you consider coffee a separate food group? Share your love of java with the rest of the church.

Media Ministry:

Video – It's always great to have the lyrics and outline on the Big Screen. If you have alert ears and a quick hand, you would be great at the video computer!

Audio – What good is a word of wisdom if no one hears it? You can help the message to be heard through the sound system!

Lighting – Lights make everything else visible, so help us make everything look better here at Crossroads.

Prayer Ministry:

If you have a heart and passion to pray on a regular basis and/or extended periods of time, then we invite you to become part of the Crossroads Prayer Team.

Kid's Crossing:

Nursery – Would you like to be one of the first to meet some of the newest additions to the Crossroads family? Help us fill the Sleepers & Creepers and Walkers & Talkers rooms with wiggles, giggles, prayers, and lots of love.

Early Childhood – Do you love hugs, Bible stories, and animal crackers? Join us in Kid's Crossing and help kid's meet God through play!

Rounte252 (Elementary) – Are you a child at heart? Do you want to play a significant role in the life of a child? Route252 could use you! We are looking for people who love to operate media, people who enjoy interacting with a small group of children, and people who desire to help children learn, worship, and grow as followers of Christ.

Check-in Counter - Every child deserves to be called by name! Kid's Crossing needs people who are willing to ensure that all children and their families feel welcome and safe.

Youth Ministry:

Special Events – The best part of Youth Ministry is going out and having fun with the teens. Come be a part of our special monthly events.

Sponsors – Every week we meet together as a family. We need your help to encourage and guide the youth through Bible studies, prayer, and fun activities; or, just come and hang out!

Facilities:

Ministry Center Maintenance – Because God deserves our very best, we are looking for people to help keep the Ministry Center and property looking great. If you love to work with your hands, this is a great place to serve.
